Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

You know the ice cream parlour I've just posted? Well its just across the road from the little station at Rawtenstall, pictured here, this was at the wartime 1940s weekend when I took this. Rawtenstall is the northern end of the East Lanc's railway, the railway lines used to go onward to Accrington, and another spur ran on up the Rossendale Valley through Bacup, down to Rochdale I think.

What a quaint little station.  There are very few train stations here in Canada.  Most have been bulldozed or turned into antique shops, or even homes.

This is a good picture, well done!!!

I like it...This kind architecture seems so grand! Of days gone by!
God's Word is truth, You can trust and believe what he says more than any human word!!!--"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble,I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

It would have been if I could have caught the old world war two American locomotive that was running that day, it was brought over here on the lend lease scheme ended up staying, an then finally went into preservation, and is in full steam again. And the little tower was also originally from some other location, can't be bothered to look it up right now. So all's not what it seems, it is rather nostalgic though.

Now that would be another great picture.  The old station with a steam locomotive.  But I do like this one.  there is history and stories to be told about this station.
