That is one I saw on another site, Carl and adore it. What a wonderful job you've done.
Makes me want to sing, "At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the Light!" What a wonderful thought that He's no longer on that cross but preparing a place for us in Glory! "There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all men." 1 Timothy 2:5-6
Sorry for going on but I just love this so much! I see it in my mind's eye as an illustration on the front cover of an inspirational book.
Thanks Pat....but I think I need to go paint the cross before the next picture of it :)
(This is the cross on the roof of my church...the building and grounds deacon has been sent a copy as a hint :) )
Well, for me, it's beautiful. Maybe it needs painting but I love it the way it is.
I'll let you in on a wee secret... When I saw it on the other site, I wept. It really spoke to me so please know that it's a special photo to me.
Thank you, Pat. Knowing that it moves someone else the way it moves me is heartwarming. This is the photo that does that to me

I made 5X7 prints of this, mounted them on a blue matte 8X10 and framed them. I also had included a scripture at the bottom on the border ("And Jesus said unto them: I am the bread of life, he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth in me shall never thirst: John 6:35). I gave one to our Pastor and one to a very close friend for Christmas. The look on my friends eyes when he opened the present filled my heart with joy. You could see how much it affected him in his eyes (He's a Deacon and is usually one of those involved in the ceremony).
Carl, I can't see your photo.
I see it's linked to our gallery. RIGHT click on top of the image and use that as the URL (ends in .jpg)
Well, Carl...
Thanks for the fellowship this evening and may I wish you the very best for 2007
I must get to my bed. Big day tomorrow.

It keeps the main thing, the main thing!
