My father-in-law is turning 75 pretty soon, so I made a collage for his grandkids to give him.  They came up with all the text on the collage...using the letters that spell out "Grandpa Dick" to come up with things that describe him, and then also some quotes about him.  They were originally going to do their own artwork for the collage, but they ran out of time and had me use photos from the 4th of July weekend instead.  In case you can't read the text on it, here's what it says:

Great golfer
Really smart
Amazing swimmer
Nice grandpa
Delightful dad
Polite person
Amazing fisherman

Dear husband
Inspired birdwatcher
Crazy cubs fan
King of the cryptoquip

"It's fun when you laugh along with me and my brothers.  It's really fun to see you smile."
"I like when you do's funny jokes and wrap us up.  Love you much."
"I like when Grampa serves me breakfast.  He cuts things up real good."
"I like you Grandpa Dick, because you are nice and fun and like to play golf and so do I."
"We like to go to the lake at Grandpa's.  We get to fish and ride boats and roast marshmallows together."

I love it!  And I believe Grandpa Dick will, too.  He must be a very special grandpa.  Thanks for sharing
