Here is a working barge being converted into a pleasurecraft or houseboat, the canal is a deep yellowish brown due the iron oxides leaching from old and abandoned mineworkings in the area. The water is coloured like this for several miles. The place where it was taken is in Worsley Greater Manchester, beautiful place, so look it up on the internt, worth learning about.
Gee, that's a groovy pic of the guy laying on some heavy work.
LOL
I just got through watching the Brady Bunch.
that sounds like a good horse opera to me, western, Used to love cowboy films, a few years ago I saw one of John Wayne's early ones in Portugal on TV, acting was so ropey you just had to laugh. The stagecoach being chased by bandits and indians, the indians being chased by the cavelry, the cavelry being chased by more indians, and Rin Tin Tin, and the Lone Ranger bringing up the rear. Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be.
LOL!
