You can tell I love taking pictures of 'lil kids...... :)
Welcome to Christian Photographers. Thanks for posting these picts. The cardinal is a beautiful bird, and the dark areas around the eyes make it a challenging subject. And with all wildlife, the eyes (or even one eye) is the key. If it is clear and in focus, it will make a big difference.
The second pict of the little girl is very cute. I might crop it up a bit, or in the next shot, get either closer for a head shoulders shot, or step back a bit to include the hands. But I kind of like it just as it is, too. Just sooooo cute!
I would love to see the faces on the black and white photo. This photo will appeal to some, but I prefer people picts facing me. But now that I've said that, the following picture is very special and filled with such nice, vivid color. Nicely done!
The last one is filled with potential. I suggest shooting it again from different angles and a little higher, and earlier or later in the day. That trough(?) is a great prop, though!
Keep those fun pictures coming!
In His Grip,
Kevin
Welcome, Cow Girl. What lovely children and you have captured them so nicely.
Good color in the Cardinal. It is so difficult sometimes to get eyes in birds.
Again, welcome. Lovely posting.
Becky
I'm impressed. Well done.
Thanks guys! Glad ya'll liked them, and thanks for the critique Kevin. Yep, lakelady, they *are* cute! :) My little brother and sister. :)
they are all great pictures.
Cowgirl, what lovely images. Cardinals are one of my favourite birds. Lovely images.
A big :welcome: to our site...
:cp:
Wow, those are great pictures! I think you are a natural at photographing children. You may not be a professional, but I can tell you that you're off to a great start! You capture children with natural expressions, or engaged in some kind of activity...that helps to give the image some kind of story. I love the one of the little boy walking with the flowers.
That cardinal image is awesome. It's hard to get a catchlight in the eyes of birds sometimes? Were you using a flash? I am still learning about this aspect when I take photos of animals.
Thanks for sharing these great images.
I love them all! The children are adorable. I love the one of the little boy walking away from the camera, with the flowers in hand. Sooo cute.
Well done
