Never been to Blackpool yet without coming back with some worthwhile shots. What are Gonks? I've no idea, but these look like very amateurish home sewn arcade slot machine prizes, look at the cardboard cutout eyes. Anyway they were just dumped outside a slot machine palace on Blackpools north peir.

 It's a good pic, well balanced. I can't say much for merchandise though. They look like little puppets.

I know this topic is dead and buried, but it just hit me. I've seen things like those on the Muppet Show.

I know they've been on some TV show, didn't know it was that one, happy times, what eh? They still look like a home made version of a commercial product.

It's amazing how the "eyes" stand out.  You could almost title it, "The eyes have it!"
