Again, Mrs. Barbarian's shot. I've learned that shooting sculpture has a hazard to it. When I was shooting the Las Colinas horses, Mrs. Barbarian was some distance away, and watched two security men closing in on me. Seems lots of other people were taking pictures, but apparently my equipment was sufficiently professional-looking that they supposed I was a potential threat.
"We have policies about putting pictures of these horses on television."
"I promise I won't put them on television."
They walked away. Turns out, you can't sell such pictures; there are rights to the pictures of sculpture, although it seems that fair use allows you to take pictures with them in the image under some circumstances.
Interesting. Well the results of your pictures are indeed professional quality, I can see why they would question you, if your equipment is also professional looking!
Mrs Barbarian Well done!
You must have an honest face if they just took your word that you wouldn't put the pictures on television! :)
And this is certainly a different sculpture. What is it supposed to represent?
QuoteWhat is it supposed to represent?
Well, it reminded me of something from my childhood...

My mom's acorn squash.
I know, I know...
I really am a barbarian, sometimes.
 I can see where that reminder comes from. (Your mom made acorn squash the way I like it best! ;) )
I think it's a guy about to get a heart transplant.
Scotty, he sure does look as though he needs one!
LOL that is one of John's favourite vegetables. Only difference is that he just adds butter when he bakes them and has a half for lunch with cottage cheese in the hollow! Different...but very healthy.
It appears that he's been shot in the leg too.
Judy, I love both acorn squash and cottage cheese but never had them together. I'll have to give that a try next time on at least one half.
Scotty, looks more like a target for a future shooting. :D
That must be it.
