I don't know whether I like the way this one turned out, or not.

Did you use different exposures or something?
It is interesting though. Tell us more!
Looks like alabaster. Interesting treatment.
I was trying to see if I could make it appear that the statue was giving off light. The tough part was showing illumination on the base and flowers.
Technically, it was great. But it looks more spooky than I expected.
OK Now I understand. Yes it does appear to illuminate. How did you do that?
I am not sure about spooky though, Interesting for sure!
It seems to me to be a great photo - but a weird subject.
I know what bothers me about this. When I was a boy, a lot of people had a little plastic Jesus that they kept on the dashes of their cars. Most of them were glow-in-the dark.
It always bothered me, although I'm not sure why. I guess my mother once remarked that it wasn't very good.
I agree it isn't good, many still do.
Have a good day and keep experimenting.

Okay, Ummmmm that second picture you posted, the one in red, My grand daughter thinks it is pretty! I say it sure is interesting. It seems to be a picture within a picture. My question is How sis you take it? It sure is interesting.
Now the second one has diffwewnt lighting, There is a watercolour quality to it. I do like what I see, it is different in composition. I like it.
The top photo you posted could make a very good book cover, the parasols, the subject clashes with the treatment, might make a CD cover for some way out band but doesn't work as a picture. Don't know what to make of the third shot, might actually win some international exhibition.
