If its a product shot you need to hilghight clearly the product name, the mood of the shot is ok, so without killing the mood, you need some sort of spotlight highlighting the front of that bottle. Makes me want to play around with your lighting setup. Those are two lemons and a coconut, again if lemon juice and coconut oil are ingredients in this product, they also need to some lighting on them to establish what they actually are.

I was just using incandescent lighting for this shot. My teacher said the same thing lol After I took this shot I spent the rest of the day fooling around with the strobes. The whole assignment was to learn how to use a view camera. By the time I had to tear everything down, I didn't have time to shoot the final with my digital. :'(

I'll tell you what might do the trick, ita a novel idea though. Try highlighting the bottle using a fairly powerful LED torch, they have a flat beam, and are I think fairly well balanced for daylight, I'd like to have a go at one or two still lifes using this type of lighting technique.

I think I would have gotten down a bit lower in shooting that.  Also, you have a very strong blue cast that could be taken care of pretty easily in photoshop.  Kind of hard to tell with this one but it looks like the focus fell on the coconut in the back rather than the bottle.  Sounds like you were up against it though, that is for sure.
