Great picture.  I love the star of sunlight.

Thanks, Judy!  I really like the sunlight, too. 

He is risen indeed!  Not being Catholic, much of the significance and symbolism of the things we saw was missing for us, that I'm sure would be exciting to a Catholic person.  I took this photo after we had toured the monastery museum and chapel, then hiked up the hill to the cemetary at the top and also this cross was there and I knew it would make a neat silhouette if taken from the right angle and framing.  I do like this picture, for it reminds me of how much He suffered for my sins but you are right, the "empty" cross is such a wonderful reminder that He is not dead, but has indeed risen and much more significance for me as a Christian!
