Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Summicron

Found it at last, and I wasn't really looking for it, the steam engine, Sir Nigel Gresley, in steam and ready to depart Bury Bolton Street Station, for Rawtenstall, not that it will ever achieve the hundred plus miles per hour these engines could deliver. These A4 class locomotives were built in the 1930's and look more streamlined and up to date than many modern trains, perhaps the most graceful engines ever built, I think so anyway. One of its sister engines, Mallard, also preserved, is the fastest steam locomotive ever built, it achieved a speed of 126.7 MPH, which aparently has never been broken.
The colour of the engine is a beautiful kingfisher blue, which with this light and the reflections is very difficult to see, but anyway I present it to you, hope you like it.[attachimg=#]

I'm not sure about calling a train beautiful, but this one is.  Lovely image of it as well.

Count me as a train lover.   BTW, this is the link to the people responsible for preserving this technological wonder:

http://www.sirnigelgresley.co.uk/

It also gives a more detailed view of the engine, although it can't match summicron's capture showing the power and the beauty of this machine.

Thank you I will look into that when I am back to the store on my own time.  Have a great weekend folks.
