Title: Take Me Home
Post by: Summicron on July 07, 2009, 06:04:14 PM
What a sad looking and forlorn little doll, now I come to think of its like a mirror of ourselves when we feel low, unwantedand bedraggled. How did I come by this? This is where I found it, the idea of taking it home and then setting it up in various locations as an introduction to various travel slide sets did occur to me, I decided to leave it there, mind you I did have to pose it for the shot as it was just draped somehow on the fence when I found it, how it got in this field goodness knows. I've only just looked properly at this picture, and my goodness it does reflect a profound sadness.

You are right it does.  It has forgotten that "the Joy of the Lord is my strength"!
