Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Oh, my!  What amazing colours.  Love how the plane is flying INTO the photo!  Great work!

I took this back in 76, when I was a medic attached to 2nd Bomb Wing, and had the crash team for the bomb competition between USAF and RAF.    The old Vulcan bombers were amazing machines; they had so little wing loading that they could land at very slow speeds compared to the B-52s.

This was an old Ektachrome slide found at the bottom of a drawer, and it took major surgery to get it back to an acceptable image.

I hope that some of my slides will be able to withstand "major surgery" when I get them all scanned!  This was certainly a good job you did on this one.

You know, it almost looks like it has been printed on a canvas or something.  The colours are so unusual but it is very interesting.  How big would it print tolerably?

Because of the deterioration of the dyes, I had to go back and do some masks and color adjustment.   It had that pinkish look that comes to very old slides.   I wouldn't put this one on an 8X10, but a 5X7 would be OK.

There was a large spot of discoloration behind the plane; I had to replace the smoke from the exhaust as they throttled up on approach.   That is all post processing.

This is a picture John would love to see.  I too love the colours, even if you did have to retouch them.  A 5X7 would be good.
