Nice shot....You obviously have another camera.....Which one is Mrs.B's!
The little Olympus is Mrs. B's. And it was taken with an old Pentax DSLR, the one Meagan uses.
Interesting information! My camera is an Olympus, too. But mine is an older P&S - C750-UZ. Plus factors - a viewfinder and 10X zoom. Minus factor - no image stabilization.
Interesting. Mrs. Barbarian's previous camera was an Olympus UZ. It's why she chose an Olympus DSLR. That and the option of using a viewfinder on that model.
I think I'll stick to just my P&S. I have enough trouble remembering what to choose on the dial - I'd never be able to keep lenses straight.
What I meant was that she was so impressed with the quality of her UZ that she was inclined to stay with Olympus. The fact that the Olympus Evolt was tiny and fit her hands, and that she could use either the viewfinder or the display were big pluses.
And I was kind of attracted to the design; the top deck is reminiscent of the old Olympus OM-1which came out 40 years ago. I read about the camera, and when we walked into the store, and she got it in her hands, I could see her eyes light up. And it was being closed out for the next model, and so...
and so......you are a good husband!
Similar to how I came by mine. I showed Gene some pictures in a photo magazine of how great the zoom worked. Then shortly after that we took the camera I had at the time for repairs and while we were there we had a chance to examine the 750. Gene was duly impressed and insisted that we trade in the older one and buy this one. Always being a "submissive wife" as directed by scripture, I of course submitted!
Guys, we like to spoil our girls.
