This looks like England, anyway it looks like a very nice shady place to sit and just watch the world go by.

This was taken in Tiverton, RI this past summer. It was a beautiful warm summer day. We have a lot of stone walls here in New England and this is just one of them.
Didn't New Englander's come from England? Stands to reason they would know how to build them. Wish I knew how to build them...many areas we need fencing, and we have lots of stone.
Tiverton is in Devon, the west country, here in England.
You're right, Judy. The wall building knowledge came originally from England. How happy the Pilgrims must have been to find the ready supply of stones to continue their craft.
