That's what they call such kinds of blankets over here, in this case its been thrown over a washing line to dry, in a little village called Brinscal, a few miles from where I live.

That is beautiful. A good way to use up ends of yarn. It would be a lovely one to cosy up in on a damp winter day!

So could I all the colours make it look even warmer, looks homes made to me too. Notice who ever made this must have had a couple of balls of striped wool as well.
