Title: Nikon D70
Post by: CheckSix on February 10, 2005, 09:07:22 PM
Great camera. Very well built, great features. If you are looking for your first DSLR this is the way to go. Much better than the Canon 300D Digital Rebel. Excellent kit lens too. Questions? E-mail me: rjschutt@hotmail.com

I like the features on the D70 and that is why I almost bought that camera.  I was almost sold on the fact that it has a built in slave for Nikon flashes.  But I could not argue with 8.2 or even 6.3 over the 6.0 mega pixels.  I will say this, you have got an awesome camera.  It was a close second in my book.  I had to empty more dough out of my personal bakery if you know what I mean.  Ouch!!

I was also considering the 20D, but I figured I could use the money I saved to get some good glass and accesories. I also didn't need the 8.2 Megapixels since I don't make prints over 8x10. Both are great cameras.
