Title: Olympus E500
Post by: Neil on May 16, 2007, 05:29:59 PM
I recently purchased the Olympus E500 and loving it so far. Still lots to learn. Anyone else use this particular camera and if so, how do you find it?

I nearly bought it.  Then I put off upgrading from my Nikon Coolpix 8700 until recently when I was fortunate to be able to acquire the Nikon D80.

I know where there's one for sale and lots of pieces Neil.  Do you have extra lenses?

I used an Olympus E500 for a while. It was a fantastic camera. Great color management, and the kit lens was very well put together.

I can attest to the good colors of the Olympus SLR's. While I was on the market to start a system, I considered Olympus because of the design (retro-classic)

The lens options made me choose Nikon.

Still, I drool at someone using Olympus because I really like their cameras.
