Title: S9500
Post by: Kon on September 14, 2005, 06:56:40 AM
Would love to hear from other S9500 users.
Just posted 4 pics as "test" shots of my new camera which I hope will encourage others to share what their cameras can do to enhance this wholesome hobby.
By God's grace, I've dedicated my photo/videography to capturing & sharing His marvellous creation to help draw people to Him.

BTW, I would like to know the best way to provide a link to my "test shots" on this forum . . . to encourage others to visit this inspiring site.  Perhaps Pat could give me some help here :)

Blessings to all at CPC.
Maranatha.

Hi Kon!

I don't know anything about your new camera but maybe some others will come in here that do.

As for sharing the link, if you click on the little blue "i" icon at the top left of the photo, ( (https://www.christianphotographers.com/gallery/images/info.gif) )you'll see the photo information below the photo.  In that information is a long URL that does NOT end with .jpg.  If you share that URL with your friends, they'll be taken to that exact photo.

(i.e. the URL showing below one of your photos is this and if you click on it, you'll be taken to that photo...

http://www.christianphotographers.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1076 )

If you'd like to share your album URL, in the gallery, go to your album and above, the path should say:

Home > Members Albums > ronkon

The URL at the top of the page when you have that navigation path showing, on the Address/Location line will be the URL for your Gallery and you can share this with your friends.

http://www.christianphotographers.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10438

All of your photos that you upload will have the number 10438 in the URL as that's your own number in the gallery.

Hi Pat,
Bless you.  Thanks so much for being so helpful.

I would love to get more folks (esp. non-Christians) to visit CPC to discover how WHOLESOME photography can be as a personal and/or family hobby.  Will start "pointing" others to this site ASAP.

BTW, someone remarked that one of my flower pics could be "larger" . . . but I was trying to stay within the 250KB limit set by CPC.  Is there a way for me to post the actual pic (almost 9MB shot) on any site (free of charge) for interested viewers?

May you and yours be richly blessed by our Heavenly Father for your labour of love in running this inspiring and helpful web site.

Warmest regards,
Kon

Good morning Colin,
Good to know that another CP member is using a S9500.
Hope you also tried the video mode @ 30 fps  -  gives almost excellent results each time.    Saves carrying my video camcorder for some quick trips :)
BTW, can I reach you on SKYPE?
Blessings on you.

How's your camera, Kon?

I'm on Skype but right now my mic isn't working but you can still chat.  If you want, you can add me to your list.

My email address on Skype in patzscott@gmail.com so maybe you can find me?
