How to Use This Board (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?topic=5279.0)
Here's our
Tenth Challenge for you all, suggested by AnnaBanana who won the last Challenge.
SIGNS OF AUTUMN
Details: - Show us your best photos illustrating "SIGNS OF AUTUMN" for this challenge. Here is an opportunity to come up with some fascinating and creative pictures!
- Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes. If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo. If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.
- Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.
- The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on Thurs., October 19, 2006 and then we'll vote on them.
- Please put a title in your post for your photos. We need the title for the poll.
- Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge. So start posting. Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!
Thanks to AnnaBanana for suggesting this topic. She was the winner of our last Challenge entitled "S-Curves". Thanks Anna!

Gorgeous, Smokey!
Where I live, it's a bit early. Only a leaf here and there, til the end of October, at least. So, a leaf it is!

Wow! What great shots.
I've never seen white pumpkins, Smokey!
Nice ones, Anna.
Morning all,
Finally got the internet back on the big computer so now I can send in another pic for the challenge. So here is a picture I took down at Eyer park here in my home town. Hope you like it.

There are some awesome photos here. Maybe I can learn something from y'all.
Here are two more I got back yesterday I took with a Canon EOS Rebel G film camera. Don't know the settings because the digital readout is shot but the pictures come out really good.
A friend and I went down to the park Saturday and took pictures of the foliage. All I can do is marvel at the wonders of God's awesome creation and just give Him the praise.
Blessings,

Thanks, Janet. I'm not sure that the one on the truck is real - kind of doubt it - because I couldn't get real close to it, but it's certainly a conversation piece!

Snowy/Frosty Leaves
I took this the morning after the first "snow" of 2006 as I was leaving to go to work. The snow hasn't stayed but the cold sure has!
Marilyn777, those are awesome! We don't really have much Fall color where I live.
Sue, nice shot! B-r-r-r-r-r!
Thank you Janet I love Fall, the colours are just spectacular but the season doesn't last nearly long enough and its a photographers dream! Around every turn there is another shot!
I agree Marilyn777...fall is a kaleidescope!
Thank you Janet. Yes Brrrrr is correct!
I have really enjoyed the multitude of photos here and I do agree, picking just a handful of favourites is going to be tough!

PLEASE remember to put a title for every entry you enter so that Kevin doesn't have to try and figure out a title, ok?
I have just see some lovely colors yesterday and today but my son has borrowed my camera.
Thanks. I had a little one-time use camera in my car and, when I came out of church, saw I was parked right by that tree. Then when I got home there was still some unused film so, as I was taking the camera into the store, thought I'd try to use up some more shots. :)
Now I need to spend some time going back through all these wonderful photos that have been added while I was gone. WOW! There are some really great shots here. How many do we get to vote on? hmmmmm 'Taint gonna be easy! :-\

The truth is I cheated!
I went out in the yard and tried photographing leaves there. Didn't get any shots I liked. So I found a leaf with character, and posed it on the stump on our deck.
Morning all,
:-[ maybe I haven't had enough coffee but I forgot how to get in to vote.
Sorry :-[
<><Jeannine
Don't worry, voting starts at midnight on the 20th.
I guess that means midnight going into the 21st not 19 going into 20.
Thanks! Guess I really do need some more coffee. :coffee:
Have a Blessed day!

Maybe we should say 11:59 pm or 12:01 am to save confusion!
HAHAHA! Voting is open!
Enjoy! There's some fantastic shots in here this time.
Don't forget too to vote for FIVE before you click SUBMIT. Once you vote for maybe 3 and then decide on your other two, the software won't let you vote for those other 2.
How confusing!
Well, I've voted. It was the toughest voting yet. Everything in here was GREAT!

paid us? :D
Voted tough challenge
Well, this is the last day for the voting.
Looks like Bircher is winning so far.
Voting is over!
We sure saw some interesting "Signs of Autumn" in here!
Help us congratulate the winners of this Challenge! Just a fantastic challenge! :thumbsup:FIRST place
