Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

How to Use This Board

Here's our Fourth  Challenge for you all, suggested by Sara who won the last Challenge.

"REFLECTIONS"

Details:

  • Show us your best photos of "REFLECTIONS" for this challenge--in water, buildings, anywhere you see a reflection!. Here is an opportunity to come up with some fascinating and creative pictures! Think about your photo and get a really nice reflection shot!

  • Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.  If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.

  • Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

  • The challenge is open now and will be locked to uploads on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 and then we'll vote on them.

  • Please put a title in your post for your photos.  We need the title for the poll.

  • Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!

Thanks to Sara (Ellette) for suggesting this topic.  Shee was the winner of our last Challenge entitled "Pets".  Thanks Sara!

Night Lights

I don't know if I did this right!
Anyhow, I'm somewhat new to this site and when I saw this contest I thought this photo would fit well.  I've been a member of DPChallenge for a few years and I still like it, but it's getting very big!  I like the "hometown" feel to "Christian Photographers".
Well, I got to get to work!  Time flys while you're having fun.  Take care all and Lord bless,  Ray

Jim D

It's funny but my first reaction was the same as the others, Kevin--WOW!  :)
That's a fantastic shot. The only downside is that it's so great that you may have frightened off any other potential entries!!  ;D

Hi Ray...

I fixed your entry for you.

The URL to use is the one you get when you RIGHT click on top of the medium-sized photo (the one above) and then get it from the Properties menu that pops up.  It has to end in ".jpg"  The URL that you used takes you to the page where it's posted.

I love your photo.  I put your title in too.  And the brackets you use are the square ones [ ] and not the squiggly ones { }

Just drop me a PM if you need help.  I don't mind at all.  :)

I kept trying to submit my photobucket url of this photo, but it wouldn't post it. I just kept getting the "hourglass" until I finally had to click "end program". So I've finally submitted it as an attachment. Any suggestions/solutions? Thanks!

O.K. mybcjazz, loren, sue, under His Shadow, and geegee - you make me wish I never submitted my silly photo!!  :)  Great shots there, I'd be proud of all of them.  Loren, if only the "Objects in the mirror are closer..." was a bit clearer - that shot would scare me!  ???  May our Lord bless you all.  Take care of yourselves,  Ray

There are some very interesting shots in here.

Ray, your photo is not at all silly.  I quite enjoyed it.

If we all didn't contribute our little bits, there wouldn't be much to look at now would there?

Loren,
I love this shot, its just calm and peaceful. I take river and water shots all the time.

GeeGee,
I really like that window shot, and the B. & W. format adds even more character to it than if it were in full color!

Loren:
That River Reflections is another great photo; quite ascetic and bordering on austere! Great job!
