Way to go, Gary!  Your image has so many winning elements.  Very RED, sharply FOCUSED, nicely COMPOSED, a complimentary-but-not-detracting BACKGROUND... a true, WINNING photo!

Congratulations to all the winners. I loved Gary's Cardinal picture. The whole composition was just beautiful. A :yes: whole lot of deserving pictures. One of our better Challenges.  :yes: :yes: :yes: :groupwave: :groupwave: :cp: :cp: I know you'll give us another great challenge Gary. Again congratulations on the Win.

Congratulations, Gary for the winning photo. Remarkable shot of a red bird. I also extend my admiration to all other winners, most specially to Inspired Gal for her simple, yet creative and engaging entry. Awesome interpretation of Red!! She sure has the eye. (My other two personal favorites are Kevin's Leaf and Darcy's Spiral Stairs.)
