How much longer for the tie breaking voting?
Steve
I wish we could declare A winner on this one! :)
Steve
Steve, I wish I knew what to do about this. I guess I need to declare your entry as the winner, but there seemed to be so little interest in the challenge and then the tie-break only brought 4 votes. SIGH! :'(
Of course part of the problem is communication, because of the email announcements problem. And with Pat still on the sick list I don't see that being solved in the near future. Also, it seems as though photos are being posted much more on Facebook than this type of site. :(
Jeanne, since I found this, may I still vote? I will try to remember to check more often, even without the announcements. I'm still coming in the long way around to get to our site at all!
Sorry, Janet, I should have locked the voting. My fault, but I reallt can't let your vote count.
I still need to put togther some sort of "Winner" post. With so few entries and votes I don't think it would really be right to so the same as in the past.
I don't plan on stopping the challenges. It's just that with some of the recent of circumstances in my times and Pat's it's gotten kind o crazy. We have had problems for a whle sending out th general email notices, with many of them arriving as just blank pages. But since Pat has been down she hasn't been able to send any out at all so almost no one seems to be aware. And Pat is the only one who can send those email notices. So it may take some time until we figure out some way to keep folks aware of the challenges and voting.
Jeanne it is still a tie vote, how are you going to resolve that?
Judy, let's see ... I have some choices. I can cry, I can stomp my feet and throw tings, I can quit......... ;D But actually, as it had been such a long time and should have been locked, I explained to Janet that I couldn't count her vote. So it's not really still a tie, but Fotobirder is the winner. (And as soon as I can tear myelf away from the Wimbledon tennis match I'll post that.)
:) :D 8)
Jeanne Lee...
...I can phone Wimbledon and ask if they can halt the game for a few minutes while you post it... :yakyakyak:
Jackie, I'm sure they'd be just delighted to do that!
:roflBig:
Jeanne Lee...
...it might cause a bit of publicity ( only a bit ) but...I am willing to give it a go....
Before Janet voted, Marilyn was the winner.......
Well, I've made such a total mess of this, guess there's only one thing to do - declare everybody wins. Fotobirder was ahead with two votes for his Mountain Barn a d Marilyn was tied for second with Fotobirder, one vote her Dead Tree and one vote for his Mother Moose. And I forgot to lock the voting.
Then a couple of people discovered the votes were still open an added two for Marilyn and one for Fotobirder. So..... now I've made an even bigger mess.
Now, before Pat finds out and docks my pay... or fires me.... and if I can stay out of hospitals and doctors' offices for a while...
Did you say I was the Winner! Well, winning ain't everything. Having all our members health :grouphug: :groupwave: :cp:y and happy is?
Steve

Oh no, not another " Man Cave " hoarder... ;D
 Steve, my husband used to complain about all my "stuff" until I made him this offer: Okay, honey, you can go through all my stuff and throw away what you don't think I need, if I can go through all of yours and throw away everything I don't think you need! He backtracked so fast he almost fell over his own feet, and I haven't heard any complaints about my stuff since! (He has probably four times as much "stuff" as I have!)
I've never heard of A Woman Cave. They keep iy hid in the Closet and other little places like their the cash part of their Purses or Credit Cards.

Over here ( UK ) we have what we call " Granny flats " a separate accommodation built alongside the main home for our ageing parent - parents but, we never hear the term, Granddad flats... ;D
