Wow!  Congratulations to you, Ken!  I can feel the cold and loneliness in your photo! 

I think that the top THREE deserve special menion as all were in top spot before the runoff!  So, special congrats to Ken, Bob and Max!!!  What great photographs!!!

And just look at the lineup below the top three!  Fantastic images!

Congratulations!  I agree with Pat about the top three, especially, but all of these photos are so great and the photographers all deserve congratulations for a really tough challenge.   :thumbsup:

Congratulations Ken. I agree with Pat - your photo really speaks to the emotions of desolation, abandonment, hardship, etc. Kudos also to Bob and Max! Fantastic shots by everyone.  :thumbsup:

I've been gone so first time I've seen these photos.  Must say, my body did a shiver from head to toe as your photo unfolded, Ken.  Super shot!  I thought all were winners and don't think the best photographers in the world could do better.  My compliments to all, with a special  :thumbsup: to Ken!  Tisie/Shirley

Thanks for the votes all the kind comments, and congratulations to all the entrants!  I can't remember a challenge when the voting was so evenly spread over so many photos.  This was a great topic and there sure was a lot of active participation.

Wow!! Great shot, Ken...tremendous composition that speaks volumes...made me think of a trip that I made to Montana several weeks ago and seeing all of the "lonely houses" that were miles apart. Thanks to everyone for such wonderful contributions!
