Title: John Madden Bocce Charity
Post by: mfarley on June 03, 2010, 05:23:41 PM
Wasn't sure where to put this so I put it here.  Yesterday John Madden had his annual Bocce Ball invitational in Livermore, CA.  My father in law is an ex- Oakland Raider (he played on the o-line) next to greats like Jim Otto, Art Shell, Vella, etc.  He has a SuperBowl ring so he is often invited to partake in 'celebrity events'.

Anywho, this year I was asked to attend with him (I'm no celebrity but I am a good bocce player) but it backfired a bit for them.  They recruited me for the Oakland team however the Raiderettes showed up and one of them took my spot.  SO, the 49er team was short and they asked me to play with them.  I said sure, ran onto the court, and who am I teamed up with?  George Seifert.  If you're a football fan you probably know the name.  George and I sweeped them, 10-0.

Anyways, my wife took some shots but she knows even less then I do when it comes to shooting and set it to manual with the flash which of course in the dark indoor room means all the photos were completely underexposed. One was salvageable:

It does look like fun!

But, couldn't you doctor up the underexposed shots with Photoshop or PSP?
