Dear All
I don't usually like to send on this kind of email because the origins are
often so hazy and people generally don't like them. But this one brought me up sharp because it just shows that the theory that everyone in the world is within 7 people of knowing everyone else might have some truth in it - we really do live in a very small world.
You may know that last year I did some work for a well-known international health organisation, working with a former colleague from my MBA days. It turns out that a friend of his trained with Gerry McCann, the father of the little girl, Madeleine, who was abducted from her hotel bed in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on 3rd May. So when my colleague sent this to me, I felt I had to do something. I'm sending this to anyone who I believe has good contacts either overseas or across the UK and I do hope you won't feel it's an imposition. .
Although there has already been lots of press coverage about the case in England, Madeleine could, by now, be absolutely anywhere in the world. So her parents are anxious for her photo to be circulated to as many people around the world as possible. The likelihood is that she is still in Portugal or Spain, but she might be spotted at an airport, in a park - anywhere and in any country at all.
So please could you send this on to anyone you can think of who might be sympathetic to the problem? It just might start a trail that leads to her.
Madeleine's most distinguishing feature is a dark line on the iris of her
right eye. She was wearing pink and white pyjamas with Eeyore on them when she was taken.
If anyone does see anything or feels they might have any information at all, please could they pass it onto crime stoppers (UK) on 0800 555111, international number - +44 188373 1336, or email
crimestoppers@crimestoppers.co.uk.
Thanks so much.

I recall seeing this on CNN - just terrible. I certainly do pray that this precious little girl will be found unharmed.
