Hi Folks:
For a few days I have not been able to access Seniors&Friends. Do you have the same result or this a local problem at my end? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Stephen
Stephen, our webmaster, Oldiesmann, transferred our site to a new server and things have not settled down quite yet. Access seems to be "spotty" for the present, but everything will soon smooth out.
Hi Jeanne Lee:
Thank you for your remarks which gave me hope that things would soon return to normal on that site.

Hi Jeanne Lee:
I received the notice that they were going to change the server for CP but no notice for Seniors&Friends which is another Forum. I am talking about it here as I dont know where else to go. I have not been able to get Seniors&Friends since sunday and I am getting concerned as I remember what happened to SeniorNet.
Stephen
Stephen, you should be able to get into Seniors and Friends now.
If you can't, can you try to do this?
Try going to Command Prompt (Start -> Run, type cmd in the box and hit enter) and entering the command "ipconfig /flushdns" (no quotes)
That should force Windows to update its DNS cache again.
S&F isn't going anywhere. If you're still having problems getting in, and the suggestion that Pat posted above doesn't work, please send me an email (oldiesmann@oldiesmann.us) and let me know exactly what happens when you try to get in, and I'll see what I can do for you.
Hi Pat and Oldiesmann:
My thanks to both of you for your replies. I tried typing in the Run box ipconfig /flushdns, but nothing happened. Will try an Email to Oldiesmann.
