How do you view new posts when you come here to CP? I usually come to the forums page and click the link Show unread posts since your last visit at the top but for some reason I am not seeing all the new posts.  Is there a better way to view the posts here and not miss any?

Don go to the top of the page and click on Show unread posts since last visit. It is up by your name and picture at the very top of the page.  After you read/look at each post then re-click that to open the unread posts.   Hope that helps.  (I found that out by accident, I went exploring!)

Also Don after you have seen the unread posts you will see

No unread topics found since your last visit. Click here to try all unread topics.

That will take you to more unread posts!

Thanks for replying Judy. That is what I have been doing but for some reason all the new unread post don't show up there. I must be doing something wrong, I'll keep playing with it.

As you go through the different topics make sure you click "notify" on them.  Then they should show up there.  Tell me do they come up in your emails?  The unread topics?

No I have not been seeing them in my email. I think i have some clicking to do.

Hey I just discovered that the icons to the left are darkened by the rows that new posts are in from the last time you visited and if none the icons are light. For me when I come in the last current 20 posts are all I see!

So if I click on 'notify' that will send me an email notifying me someone has replied? I wondered why I didn't get notifications of replies

Yes that is how it works.

At the bottom of the page you will see a row of buttons the second one in says "notify".  Click on that and you will get a prompt " you want to enable notification?" You click on OK and you will be notified when ever there is a new post. 

Now if you go into the pictures for example and click on "Birds", scroll down to the bottom and click on "Notify" and any new posts in the birds you will be notified of!

I clicked this post to notify. Now I won't have to keep missing or wondering through to check...Thanks Judy!

Thanks juanital that is what I was looking for. If you click on the darkened icon it will take you directly to the post. I don't know what happens if there is more than one new post.

The notify button works-Thanks Don...I'm so excited...Nowww-if I can only remember to use it,

Juanital I took the time and went through the areas that I wanted notification on and clicked them all.  it took a bit of time, but was worth it in the long run.
