I'm doing further exploration of this site and finding new things all the time....like this Christian music section!  :)    I'm a huge fan of all kinds of Christian music - from full Vivaldi and Handel  to Jars of Clay,  and Randy Travis!

I picked up a Randy Travis CD some time ago, and it has become one of my family's favorites (especially my husband's.)   It has the song on it referred to in another thread of this section called "Three Wooden Crosses".   The name of the CD is "Rise and Shine".

It's all Christian music sung by the country singer Randy Travis and I had no idea he sang stuff like that.  Apparently, the "Three Wooden Crosses" song was named song of the year at  the 2003 Country Music Association Awards!  I thought that was awesome.

Anyway...there's another song on the CD that just had us howling with laughter.  It's an old timey sounding song, and the title of it is "Pray for the Fish."   If you need a smile for today, here are the words:

The fish started jumpin'  it was like they were swimmin', in a lake of fire.
Then Eddie's momma stepped outta the crowd.

there are so many other great songs...i was never a country fan until I was Born Again...
only then did i began to see the "HEART" of country music.....now I just love listening to
ACMR on the radio ...we get it hear on sunday mornings for 2 hours of the best Christian Country

what iif nobody belived in you (or GOD) he was "tougher than nails|" WOW you can't beat those!
check em out....but I just found one on the net by jeff and sherri Easter called "Feel the Nails"
and i fell in love with it .....get a copy of that "  "Does he still feel the nails everytime i fail ?"
i've got to change because i just can't stand hurting him" but my ALL time favorite right now
I have no clue who the artist is...i found it surfing the net with no name on it???
