Ohhh, my goodness!
This is fantastic! Look at the little curl of the vine on the left! So much is in focus.
You should tell Toejoe about CP. ;)
Doesn't come much better than this, ever such a well balanced composition, looks like you've used a touch of flash to intensify the colours, also the background is nicely out of focus, (good boke as they say) it supports the butterfly well. Leaves me wondering which airline has this livery.
No fill flash here. Just good, early morning sunlight!
Can you translate "which airline has this livery" for me? Is that a British English phrase?
Kevin
No Kevin its not an english phrase, its just that the orange and silver grey looks very much like the livery of one of your American airline companies, not sure which one. But having said that the liveries of different airlines do seem to be inspired by the colours and patterns of butterflies.
Thanks for the reply. The phrase is not British, but the term livery is more likely British English than American English.
Hope to get some more picts next week of the little beauties...after a day or two of rain on Monday and Tuesday... :-[

Very nice image of the little beauty!
Thanks, Grayce!
