Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Many gardners call these Tomato Hornworms. This one for whatever reason reminds me of a puppy.  :idiot:

Nice work! I see what you mean about the puppy. Like how they "stand" front legs on something and lean back to look around and up.

They sure can wreak devastation to tomato plants in next to no time.

Thanx Tim.

Jenny, you are quite right! They can make short work of a large tomato plant. I've seen them almost strip one overnight. This one won't be doing that.  :)  I brought him inside and set up a small habitat for him. I'll feed him suckers from my plants as the temps cool and let him do his cocoon thing. They turn in to a strikingly attractive larger moth and do no damage as such.

I guess I don't have the imagination to see the puppy, but this is quite the portrait. Those markings are really striking. My daughter brought in a salt marsh moth caterpillar yesterday, and we had a fun shooting session with him before turning loose again. Up close, caterpillars are pretty impressive
