The first frost on our Garage window. it takes single digit temps though to produce this in our unheated garage.
Your frost pictures are amazing. Ive been trying to figure out how you took that! However you have to have frost to be able to take any frost pictures!!
Judy, I have plenty of frost on my windows. Comes from the moisture I add to counteract the dry heat. When the temps are a little milder it's just wet areas but these days it freezes and becomes frost. :)
Jeanne put plastic over the windows, you can get double sided tape apply the plastic and take the creases out with a blow dryer. That will keep you warmer and possibly reduce your heating costs!

Taking frost photos like this just takes a camera capable of focusing very close. I used a monopod for stability and got less than an inch away. The other alternative is use a telephoto lense and a tripod and set the tripod at just over the minimum focusing distance to take your shot. I found out the hard way the hardest thing about taking these is keeping the camera parallel with the window.
OK I will try that....But I have no frost on any window! LOL
