Great macro shot. That green on his back really stands out. Almost as if it is laying on top.
Jes a great shot. Is he as big as he seems?
The little fellow was about 1.5inches long. Sadly I missed the focus on the eye by a fraction.
Still an excellent picture!

No more of that little fellah -the other couple I took of him didn't pass muster.
doesn't that often happen? Take multiples of pictures only to find that only one or two turn out.
We are resilliant as photographers aren't we? In any other part of our life we would give up if we had such discouraging results. Yet, in learning from these discouraging times we become better, better people, better photographers, and that all goes in line with what the apostle Paul said, "run the race with patience". Ahhh but there we go with the patience thing. I don't have a lot of it!
W.S. - that may not be a perfect shot, but it's very, very good! That green is indeed somethin' else!
