This is a photo of a ladybug I took over the weekend :)
My you were close to that little fellow! Well done! Did you have to use a tripod?
Our ladybugs are brown up here and really stink when they die. We rarely see a true orange/red.
I have a tripod, but I didn't use it for this photo. I just love ladybugs, they're just so pretty!
Great closeup shot, Susan. Ladybugs are helpful, too, eating the aphids that eat our plants.

I saw this ladybug for about three days and decided that it was dead as it never moved so I got a wee twig and then it came to life. The next day it was gone.
Good thing you got the picture before you poked! ;D
