That is a beautiful ring. What is the stone?

Thanks! Star sapphire.
I love the sapphire, your birthstone?

Naaaaaaaaaaaaa... it reminded me of the sea's color once you get out past the crud.
Yes it does at that. I love the ocean, spent many hours on board ship to and from England.
Beautiful, Gary. I've never seen one of the Navy rings and really enjoy the closeups.
Appreciate the Navy ring too. My younger brother served in the Teams and I have great respect for anyone who sacrificed time, sweat, health etc etc etc for our great Country. Thanks for serving!
On a photographic note, what type of lens did you use? I've been reading about Nikon's 14-24mm and their 16-35mm. Expensive, but from the reviews are incredible pieces of glass.
Sincerely,
Darcy (gardnerlakegirl)

You're welcome, Darcy.
I used my bridge camera (Fujifilm HS-10) with Raynox DCR-150 and DCR-250 macro filter/attachment. I think they do a GREAT job.
