That is interesting....Like the red...but what is it of?

When Meagan broke her wrist, she was sent to an orthotist specializing in hands.   I was fascinated by the way they used low-temperature polymers to make well-fitted braces.   She gave me some samples.   This one had holes in it.    I heated it in hot water, and distorted it to make different sized holes and to give it some "hills."   

Then I cooled it, dipped it in soap to put "windows" in the holes, and then shot it close up with some colored foil behind it.   The soap film picked up the image of the foil in each "window."

My goodness!  I never would have imagined that.  My first thought was a sheet of red capsules.   :)
