Macro and high speed flash combined, this is exceptionally well done in the fact that the liquid is translucent and backlighting has been used to give shape to the crown.

Very cool. :o What kind lighting set up did you use?
All natural lighting. (No flash). The backlighting (which is simply a glass patio door with snowy landscape outside) was sufficient enough for me to get a fast enough shutter.
