I noticed the nice lighting on my mom's roses Saturday. Originally pink, I used a filter to change this to more of a pumice or light sepia tone. I like the results. I've started a "Fabulous Filters" gallery on my new website. (http://shekinahphotography.zenfolio.com/ (http://shekinahphotography.zenfolio.com/)) because sometimes a filter can add that extra something to an image.

Wow! That's Beautiful!!!
I second that! Wow!!!
Neat ghostly appearance. To steal a phrase from McDonalds, "I'm lovin it".
Did you use one of those soft effect filters?
The softness comes from a very shallow DOF with my 70-300mm lens zoomed all the way in on the rose.
wow that is a great photo kathleen
