I bought a lily with 8 buds on it! Most had six and the buds have started to open. In fact three have opened and so I just took a few photos...

Pat, this is an awesome picture. It looks so silky. You can see the pollen.

Don, yes hand held on my living room floor here. My tripod is out in the car and I was too lazy to go and get it so just snapped a few.

The photo is a little dark I think. It was an overcast day and windy today. Maybe I'll have some sunshine tomorrow to try again.
