We have Niagara Parks to thank for these lovely roses growing up on a wall made of limestone blocks. There were many talented stone masons among the early settlers, and quarries of limestone were also abundant, so a hundred years later, we have many beautiful limestone buildings to admire, as in Kingston and St Marys, Canada.

On the same wall as the red roses, was a lovely pink climber, loaded with blooms.

Hi Folks:
Thanks to Pat for posting my photos and thanks for your comments. There are so many more that I hope to share with you in the future.
Yestyerday I wrote something but have no idea where to go looking for it. Pls foregive me if I am slow at responding to any of your comments.. Right now I'm involved with health issues, and hope and pray that things will be ok.
Am looking forward to the day when I can be a more effective member of CP.

Hi Stephen...
I do hope and pray that your health problems are much better and that you'll be able to start posting here more often. I know that the folks would love to get to know you.
I must look up that photo I took of you and your good wife at the Flower Show in Toronto and put it here so that they can see your happy face!
Hi Folks:
Nothing new to report at this time, except that we are well into the Spring season, and my dark mauve lilac are putting on a great display.
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the Hills,
whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
who made Heaven and Earth".
