I used 'vivid' in the picture control setting...Taken nearby at Lake Tomahawk and which I visit so-so often!

Nikon D300 18-200vr
I wonder if the D80 has vivid. I must try that. These colours are wonderful!
Wow So beautiful and such wonderful reflections!
They certainly are "vivid". A great job of capturing those beautiful colors.
THanks Pat, Judy and Jeanne-you gals are good for my vanity, ;D :D
Pat-I looked up to see if you have vivid on your D80-It's under Optimize Image-you also have softer, vivid, more vivid, portrait, custom and b&w which you can choose filters to use in that setting...hey that's exciting!!! I try to use what the The D40 and D300 have...Just for the fact they are there. It's a challenge to myself to see what I can do with it!!! I found it hard refer to the manuals except for specific thing that I was trying but otherwise alot of shooting and experimenting I did, I did....hope to see that you may give it a go...here's a link to that info that I looked up...

Thank you so much, Juanita!
You know what? I got a Tamron Macro lens for our First Anniversary gift this week. Paul bought it for me and boy! I sure need some lessons on it. 90mm
You did an amazing job!
What a nice picture! ;)
Ooooh! Pat!!! We'll be watching now for some great macro shots.
I just love the colors!
I think I like the second one the best. The colors are so great.

I heard/read the Tamron 90 is a great lens! It's suppose to be good for portraits, too...I'm not real good on that style of shooting or even for people snapshots but occasionally I get a nice one...Can't wait to see some of your photos shot with it...Ohhh-and you're welcome! :)
Thank you much Carissa and CMH! ;)
