Look what I found! Gold! And red and rust and orange and all the colors of autumn.
I've been sick this past week, but I new the fall color was at its peak, so I had to get out this weekend and shoot some more of it. There's a change in weather coming, too, bringing wind and that will be the end of our fall leaves for another whole year. I totally exhausted myself, but it was worth it. :sleepy:

Oh Kathleen these shots are just beautiful
Ohhh....
Kathleen, they are awesome indeed. We had some very untimely high winds and nearly all of our leaves disappeared prematurely here.
Sad..
You sure did strike it rich!! Beautiful!
Wow they are beautiful. You truly are rich!
Thanks, everyone! Here's another...(I have so many and not enough time to process them all, yet.)

Hi Don! Hey, I think I do see you there on the far bank. But, instead of a fishing pole, I think you have a laptop. Could you be trying to catch up on that editing?
Sorry, but I am at least as far behind as you so I don't think I'll be able to help you anytime soon. It seems the further I go the be-hinder I get. ha ha Personal and church photos keep me busy enough nevermind the stuff for my business. Oh well. It's all fun and all good, but I will never be caught up...and now...Christmas! More photos to take!
All these photos are so beautiful I understand you are busy, but when you can take the time to post what you can. You are very tallented.
Lovely photos. Just so appreciate seeing them.
The maple is eye-grabbing. It would be terrific as a watermark on notepaper. It's always a temptation to blast as much saturation as you can on autumn foliage, but restraint, as you've shown it, produces a much more satisfying result.
Thanks you so much for all the nice comments. :)

Thanks. That's a good idea. I don't think I added any saturation in post processing. They actual colors were so rich and saturated already that if I recall I even backed it off a bit. I'm with you as far as not over-saturating.
