Here in Australia we are coming to the end of Spring and I have been taking some shots of Native Orchids at a Flora Reserve about 10 miles from my home. These Orchids can be quite small and it can take a practised eye to spot them. The ones I have shown here are about an inch across. Hope you like them.
God bless,

These are beautiful and you captured them so well.
Isn't is amazing what God has created and we really have to pay attention or we will go right by such delights.

Thank you Becky. I have just started reading "The New Living Translation" Bible this morning. Genesis had me reflecting on just how wonderful this world our God has created. He is truly awesome.
God Bless,
Rob. :) :)
Beautiful Orchids.
Beautiful captures photobro, you did good. You are fortunate to have these in the wild to photograph. :thumbsup2:
Thanks Don. Yes they are beautiful little flowers. I think part of the attraction with them is they flower so fleetingly that you can see them one day and a few days later they are gone. They are so ephemeral that you can wonder if they were ever there at all. Next year I am hoping to find some "Spider Orchids". They are also very beautiful little flowers and some are quite rare. Anyway, here are a few more shots. The yellow one is a "Donkey Orchid", The green one is a "Nodding Greenhood" and the white/pink one is a "Pink Fingers". I don't know what the botanical names are. Hope you like them.
God Bless,
