One of my cycling destinations is to Sharpes Beach from Ballina, NSW, Australia.
There is a bench seat overlooking the Pacific ocean. When I sit there, just to the left of me is this view.
Beautiful, Hermit. There we have desert, temperate and oceanic climates displayed in one milieu.
Hermit, what a wonderful and tranquil place to meditate and clear ones mind...

Yes , I have several favourite places to be still in the presence of God's creation.
There is one stop that many town folk visit every day. It is called the North Wall. It is a rock wall which protects the mouth of the river entrance from the sea. Many go their to see if they can spot dolphins, whales, sea turtles, sea eagles and other birds, and anything else. It really is amazing how much is seen if you go there regularly.
