Just a few shots of what I see when I go out the back door.

WOW they are beautiful Don! Well planted and well taken!!!
A lovely back yard, Don. ;)
Have they bred a hibiscus that is hardy enough to handle the Dallas winters?

After looking at the maps I would say the ones like I have would survive, Not much difference in temps.

I do not know what variety I have as my neighbor gave me the starts for these. I have never seen these for sale at nursery's here. All I have seen here are tropicals and they WILL NOT winter over. The tropicals have shiney waxy looking leaves like gardenias or camellias.
I might be able to send you a start this winter or maybe a seed if you would like to try and grow yourself one. They do produce an occasional seed although they are rare. I have a few that came up from seed but the color is usually different from the original.
Just let me know. ;)
They are beautiful Don.
Thanks Judy! :)
They are just starting to come up this year, I'll try to remember to get photos of them when they bloom.
They are beautiful, Don. I would definitely like to try them. I'll send you a PM.
That will work. :)
Well I failed to get any photos of my Hibicus this summer but I did get these of my Peony so thought I would post them.
