It was dark overhead, with rain just starting to fall. But I love the light in this one.
Oh, my! Now, this is a wonderful photo! I just love the colours! Wow!
Pat is right, these are beautiful colors.

I used a Pentax *st DS, with a Sigma 70-300 Macro lens.
Wow these are beautiful. Is this your garden? Amazing!
No, this is a patch of wildflowers which the city of Richardson, Texas plants and doesn't mow near their city hall. It's gorgeous every year. But I'm getting better at recording that beauty, now.
The first one looks professional.
Barbarian I think I have suggested this to you before. Have you ever tried selling some of these to postcard companies? Might be worth a try they are very good!
Very nice coloring in that poppy-is that a perennial? I have some orange ones-suppose to be red but can't seem to get the red as you have captured here...I can't wait for Batchelor buttons and Larkspur to bloom but I think I'll be waiting for that a while...Really nice shots Barbarian!!! Ahhh Springtime....
There was a heavy overcast, and the light had a definite cool cast to it. I think that's what made the red so intense.
Beautiful photos, Barbarian, of gorgeous flowers. (And you're doing a grand job of keeping them all within the limits Pat has set. )
