You made me feel like I was there!  I could almost smell 'em.  Oh the magnificence of our Creating God!  What an Artist is He!  Thank you, Barbarian, for these.

Thanks Al.   I was in San Antonio this past week, and this Sunday I worshiped in an old mission church that was hundreds of years old.   It is always refreshing to see how spiritually-oriented the people of San Antonio of all faiths are.   Too bad I won't be there for Easter Sunday.   An Easter mass there is triumphant and joyful, as it should be.

There was a spring break celebration going on downtown, and although though beer was on sale from street vendors, I saw no drunk or rowdy people.  Even at night, it was a place you would be comfortable taking your children.   It's a different place culturally, from a different time.   

I hope it catches on.
