Title: Single Flower
Post by: BHenderson on April 03, 2009, 05:38:27 PM
Hey all, I felt inspired a few days ago (actually more like bored because I needed to keep my ankle above my heart due to a nasty sprain, nasty as in my foot is black and blue!) and decided to play around with a flower shot concept I saw someone else do...   Here are some pics and my results, the first picture shows the flower with the background lit, the second shows the flower lit by a spot (a 4Dcell Mag lite in this case, this was a test...) and the last is my final edit.  I'll be trying this again soon with film but I wanted to test the concept with my cheap digital camera...

Being bored has brought forth some good results.  I personally like the middle one best, but they are all good.  Lets see more!

I would like the second one the best, but your finger a bit distracting, so I'll have to say the last one is the best. Great lighting though. A good concept using the MagLight.

I would say your boredom has resulted in some great images.  :)
I like the lighting in the 2nd one.
