Title: Summer Sunshine
Post by: musissionary93 on August 10, 2010, 12:38:26 PM
Canon EOS 20D

Anyone have any suggestions on how to upload photos so that they appear much larger? :P This is my first post in any forum.

Please critique! I'm just getting started in photography and would love your tips and suggestions. :)

This is beautiful.  I love it.  Now as far as critiquing  goes, I am not that experienced.  BUT we have many her who really do help!

When you post a picture and put in your link, click the arrow that says "Link inlline image and then click on "Link Fullsize Attachment."  That will post your picture "fullsized".

Wonderful picture! One thing I could point out is that maybe you could have framed the flower just a touch more to the right. That way some of the petals wouldn't be cut off. I'm a bit of a fan of negative space, so I might be a tad biased, haha.
The bright yellow really pops though. Some of my favorite colors to capture with flowers are orange and yellow (on the other hand, for some reason I have trouble with red, hmm). Anyways, can't wait to see more from you :)

Thanks Judy! I'll try to remember that for next time.

@VisualCatalyst - I agree with you, for a "perfect" picture it would have been better to have the petals on the left fully shown. More things for a newbie photographer to look out for. Thanks for the tip!
