Title: The Hibiscus survived
Post by: Barbarian on June 18, 2013, 09:13:27 AM
Mrs. Barbarian started planted a Hibiscus last summer.   It was supposed to be winter hardy in North Texas, but didn't do well in the winter.   This spring it was nothing but a dry stick above ground.   She almost pulled it up.

Good thing she didn't.   It grew about 5 feet tall, and is popping many huge blossoms, now.

That's beautiful!  Lesson learned - don't pull up dry sticks until you see what develops!   :D
